How do I associate an existing assignment with a grade item?

If you created an online assignment, but it is not associated(tied)  to your Grade Item

1. Go to your Assignments tool in your class.
2. From the unassociated assignment, select Edit Assignment from the dropdown menu.
3. Scroll all the way down to Evaluation and Feedback
4. In Grade Item either choose an existing item or create a new one.
