Do I have to “open” the class up for students?

No. You do not have to do anything. The course will become available and unavailable to students based on the course beginning and end dates listed in my.ccc.edu.

You, as the instructor of your course, can change these dates in Brightspace if desired:

1.  Click Course Admin -> Course Offering Information

2.  Scroll down and modify the the start and end dates, which control when the course is available.
